It represents structural verification of capability pathways but does not constitute statutory, state-backed, or occupational regulatory qualification authority in jurisdictions requiring legally mandated licenses.

• Permitted Declarations: Recognised operators, partners, and credentialed personnel may state "Recognised by BOCAQ" inside active parameters and specific approved scopes.
• Prohibited Uses: Members must not misrepresent their scope of assessment, imply regulatory validation, or suggest awarding authority beyond approved competencies.
• Enforcement & Oversight: BOCAQ reserves full systemic rights to withdraw recognition, suspend listings, or terminate framework permissions immediately where policy breaches or false representations are identified.

The British Organisation for Competence Assurance and Qualifications insignia acts as a certified mark of alignment. Authorised use of the emblem is granted strictly to currently recognised professionals, active organisations, and accredited training providers.

• Visual Integrity: The emblem and logotype must not be stretched, altered, recoloured, or decomposed. It must maintain specified clearance boundaries on all print and digital communications.
• Termination of Rights: All privileges to display the insignia cease immediately upon suspension, voluntary retirement, or complete withdrawal of active BOCAQ recognition.

By interacting with or registering under the BOCAQ framework, individuals and participating entities agree to adhere to the structural regulations and procedural standards established within our qualification and registry modules.

• Discretionary Recognition: Alignment listings and registers are entirely discretionary, subject to assessment, scope validation, and consistent compliance reviews.
• Liability Disclaimer: BOCAQ serves as a validation body for competence frameworks and does not assume liability for individual workforce outcomes, corporate performance results, commercial decisions, or third-party qualification outputs.
• Document Amendments: System rules, criteria parameters, and governance terms may be modified, updated, or completely restated by the board of trustees at any interval without prior individual notice.

BOCAQ takes international information security and data compliance seriously. We process candidate, professional, and corporate data strictly for the purposes of managing competence recognition registers, verification requests, and framework audits.

• Data Sharing: Information may be securely shared with members of the BOMEQP Group, evaluation boards, and authorised technical verification providers to maintain registry integrity.
• Data Retention: Records are retained only for the active lifecycle duration of the qualification or registry scope, ensuring candidate alignment with standard data protection mandates.
• Individual Rights: Registered candidates hold full legal rights to request access, query logs, demand standard corrections, or withdraw consent under applicable data protection authorities.
